Refined Elegance

• The objective was to create a feeling of suspension, a way to defy gravity.
  Relating altitude to the nature of the project's location, a sense of suspension is visible in the way a wooden box can seem to be held by the metal structure underneath it.
  The same concept is used with the fireplace where a fragile glass seems to be supporting the above wood panel.
